Episode 49 – Week of Winter Calling, 2019

Hello, I’m Branwyn Two-Moon of Clan Lighridge and these are the Ersatz Echoes of Eastfjord Harbor for the week of Winter Calling, 2019.

The end of the year is upon us. Year’s Turning is imminent.  And the light snow last week and forthcoming is a reminder: Winter is calling upon the valley and the visit will be cold and dark.

I’m broadcasting from Petrosk as I am involved in the Year’s Turning celebrations. Much gratitude to Luna for providing the tool I completely forgot about last week while I was recovering from transporting people around the valley and had to jump home and retrieve.

The campsites around Petrosk are as brightly-colored as the town itself and I can see them beautifully from my current vantage point. Tthe roads into town are much the same.

The people that call Petrosk home have barely been here long enough to do that, but they are clearly part of the valley’s people in how they’re welcoming so many guests.  Multiple ambassadors, a few odd nobles, the entire Pinecrest council, and representatives of three tribes houndlings are among the visitors.

Yes, three.  Apparently.word got around.

The White Mountain Clan of Feralix will be performing year’s greetings rites beginning at sunset on Year’s Turning while the Black Mountain Clan will perform their own rites at sunrise the first day of Gnome Resting.

Tonight’s broadcast is short – there’s still a lot to be done before tomorrow and I have a lot of involvement in it.

The Ersatz Echoes of Eastfjord Harbor are brought to you by Red Wombat Tea Company, purveyors of fine and otherworldly tea. Red Wombat: We Dig Tea.

Also brought to you by Pinecrest Council, who wish you all peace and joy in the coming year.

These have been the Ersatz Echoes of Eastfjord Harbor for the week of Winter Calling, 2019. Take care, mind the breeze, and stay warm.
